Our client pioneers a new category of loan-alternatives that is disrupting an outdated residential lending industry. They leverage technology like data analysis and API integrations to process thousands of deals quickly and efficiently, and eliminate the hassle of dealing with banks and lenders while refinancing or moving.

Role Description

Our client is looking for a compassionate engineer who enjoys helping a financially challenged demographic, has a growth mindset, and thrives in a dynamic team environment.

In this role you will help our client:

• Design, develop, and document new features in our frontend user portals
• Contribute to architectural and tooling decisions with company-wide impact
• Maintain and improve existing user portals, selectively re-architect the code to scale
• Communicate with Product and Design teams on best customer experience practices
• Mentor and level up Engineering team

This role will report to VP Engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• 3+ years of experience working with React
• 1+ years of experience working with Typescript
• Comfortable with microservices architecture (REST, GraphQL)
• Experience writing unit tests and integration tests with frameworks like Jest
• Strong sense of ownership and attention to detail

Bonus Points

• Full-stack experience (NodeJS, Express, Nest, Next)
• Experience with using wireframe tools (Invision, Figma, or similar)
• Familiarity with pixel-based user journey systems like Hubspot
• Familiarity with CRM systems like Wordpress or Prismic
