Our Client
Our client is looking for a curious and empathetic Quantitative Researcher who is motivated and wants to work in a collaborative space. They are a research and development organization focused on the web3 ecosystem. They love the open nature of blockchain and intend to leverage it to increase opportunity and fairness.
Responsibilities:
- Develop algorithms and models with the intention to better understand risk and uncertainty
- Collaborate closely with team members which include engineers and modelers to design requirements for research needs
- Design and execute experiments in a variety of contexts and communicate those results to stakeholders
- Drive the creation and improvement of metrics and statistics to level up the group’s understanding of the applications and impact of our models and simulations
Qualifications:
- An ability to adapt and work under large amounts of uncertainty
- 5+ years developing production-quality models in a language like Python, C++ or equivalent
- Problem-solving skills and are able to work independently on large technical projects
Bonus if you have:
- BA/MA, BS/MS, or PhD in a technical field
- Experience -
- in gaming, economics, blockchain, mathematical or statistical modeling, AI/ML
- designing or working with DeFi protocols
- with smart contract development
