Experience

I’m a founder and CEO with over a decade of experience in tech operations and entrepreneurship. My company, Recruiting from Scratch, is a premier talent firm that focuses on placing the best candidates in software engineering, hardware engineering, product management, and product design roles. We help companies build high-performing, innovative teams. The candidates we find go on to build new products, launch incredible initiatives, and lead their own, top-notch departments. Before founding Recruiting from Scratch, I founded CMU Tech & Entrepreneurship, a community for CMU entrepreneurs. I also served as the Head of Talent for Mojo, Inc. and the Head of Operations for Vault Health. In all of these roles, I developed significant expertise in talent acquisition and recruiting operations. I carried that wealth of experience forward to found Recruiting from Scratch, which I founded based on the idea that there was a better way to recruit: from “scratch,” without the frills and unnecessary overhead of a larger agency model. Will has a B.A. in Economics from Carnegie Mellon University.

About me

I grew up in the Bay Area living on Shoreline Blvd right next to Google's HQ. I was exposed to the tech industry at an early age, and spent my time brainstorm on the type of company that I wanted to start in the future. I attended three different colleges eventually making it to Carnegie Mellon. I currently live in New York City with 20 plants.
